Baking is not a passion of mine, more like a necessity. Usually, if I want pastry – I buy it or pay a visit to my sister. But this weekend I’ve decided to brush up on my baking skills and participate in my niece’s school bake sale.
After browsing web for an interesting but easy recipe, I ended up on Martha Stewart’s page and this particular
apple cupcake recipe. Good ingredients, doesn’t contain nuts and lots of fun making those
marzipan apples. Felt like working with clay!
So here they are all packaged and ready to be sold:
The bake sale was also a craft sale, with a few local artisans. My favorite one was Rive Design fabric art (website isn't available). No paint involved in these artworks whatsoever. Just whimsical fabric cutouts, glue and paper. Canadian landscapes, birds and flowers - so simple, neat and original.
Thanks for participating in the bake sale! I was too late to buy your adorable cupcakes - they flew off the shelf! :) ~M
