Spring hike

We almost made it to the falls:)

Look at this mischievous guy. His dad decided that snow pants were not necessary for this hike since we were just going to look at the Falls. Yeah, right. G had other plans - he just bathed in the deep snow and the sunlight! Soaking up his mittens and sweat pants. It was clear that going further down the trail was not going to happen and we had to turn around. Oh, well...next time we will make it.

Feeling the Spring energy more and more everyday. Sunlight is so bright. It will be interesting to see how V reacts to no darkness since it'll be his first summer in the North. Second for me. Wow. Time flies.

May spoils

I took a walk through our neighbourhood a few days ago to take in all Spring beauty. The colours were amazing and even though I had my camera with me, I felt it wasn’t doing a good job, I felt limited. Limited to capture the gorgeousness with this piece of technology. So at some point, I let go. I sat in the middle of a field and let my eyes marvel at the beauty around, without looking through the lens. Fresh greens, yellow dandelions, luscious pink trees, birds and insects being laud and busy. So much untouched beauty this season brings to us…
On the way home, this busy bumblebee caught my attention. He was such a show off, hopping off the flowers and almost modeling for me. My favourite image is where he peeks his little face into the frame:)
