My husband is a hero

Not only this man can make things with his own hands but also he’s very brave and protective of his home and our neighbourhood.
Yesterday, around 11:30 pm, while I was peacefully browsing the net for some fabrics, V ran out of the house so quickly that I could only get “somebody’s trying to get …” response from him. Then he disappeared into the dark with rain pouring all over him. I was left stunned with my jaw dropped open trying to understand what the heck just happened.

After about 3 minutes of waiting and no husband coming back, I put on some clothes and went after him.

A bit further down the street I saw V with some neighbours standing around a very sketchy looking man.
Turned out, the man was a car burglar and V approached him when he was searching inside of our neighbours’ car! My dear beloved husband caught the criminal at the time and place and was not letting him run away until the police arrived.

Apparently these people are after our GPS’s, Ipods and change that some people have lying around in their cars. So word of advice, folks - make sure you don’t leave any valuables in your vehicles, because that’s what keeps these people searching and coming back to our neighbourhoods – our own negligence and forgetfulness (our victim neighbor forgot to lock his vehicle).

Be safe and cautious, it's a different world out there now.

  1. Wow - molodez! Good job! That burglar must have regretted his bad choice right then and there when he saw this guy going after him! :)
