New railings

So now when you walk into our humble aboad this is what you see first thing: instead of this: That's right - "bye-bye" old wall railings, "hello" sexy fresh ones! The simplicity, the modern feel, the dark stain, what more can you wish for, right? Once the wooden poles and black metal spindles were in place, we couldn’t believe the difference! The whole space lit up immediately (the carpet on the stairs and wall colour is yet to be updated). It was such a pleasure working with our contractor Isabelle from “A Step Above”. It was the first time we hired someone to help us with the project in the house and I really recommend this local shop if you have a staircase that needs an update. Not only we were happy with the product and installation, we also would like to thank Isabelle for taking that extra step and helping us with the prep work that V decided to do himself. That certainly made the process go smoother and we've learned something:).

I tell you, it is very rewarding to DIY renos even if they're pain but it feels so much better having someone else make the project happen for you!
