Snowshoeing at Gatineau Park

Finally, we did it. We got out of the house and onto the wild!
Thank you NCC for this engaging, free snowshoeing activity. We now know how to read animal trails!
Honestly we had a blast. If only we can do outings like this more often. I always thought that in order to enjoy winter scenery you have to participate in some kind of a winter sport such as skiing or snowboarding and you will need to fully commit to it: buy the equipment, park passes, etc. Turns out, it can be as simple as snowshoeing walk in the park that can make up for a fun and affordable winter activity. Not to mention - less risky:)

  1. Ooo that looks like fun... and it's free! We could do it for a social committee thing one Saturday this month!
