Visiting Smith Falls

I love it when we have a chance to visit nearby little towns. Being home is great, in fact, we’re the “homiest couple” amongst people we know, but when V gets a free weekend and we’re able to fit in a small road trip to someplace local, there is no question and we are on our way.
We visited Smith Falls this Saturday. It felt great driving through summer landscape, being in the country and feel the relaxed pace of a little picturesque town. We walked, checked out some local stores and sat by the canal to take in the view.
No errands or projects. No everyday agenda. Just V, me and summer days ahead of us.

Felt wonderful.
